Yard Furniture x Kekou
We recently gave Richmond’s newest hotspot the YARD Furniture treatment.
Situated in a 120-year-old building, the brief called for a warm, rustic interior to complement the offering of Craft Beer and Eastern Asian cuisine.
Railway sleepers were salvaged from the Mornington Peninsula to create the focal point of Kekou: upstairs and downstairs bar areas which house the impressive rotation of craft beer from around Australia.
Custom made bench seating sits against a backdrop of living walls and incredible wall effects by Surface Artist Jamie Lee O’Shea (who recently did work onThe Espy revamp).
The YARD details go right down to the handcrafted recycled timber beer taps, and custom doors that welcome you into the venue.
